At the core of the Centennial Campaign is a deeply rooted, century-long commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. From the beginning, Lovett understood that for our students to become extraordinary leaders, we must continuously build a multifaceted educational experience that speaks as much to students’ brains as to their hearts, as much to intellectual discovery as to the spirit of friendship. Today, the Rice Annual Fund is the university’s most powerful means of reaffirming and sustaining Lovett’s vision for educating the whole student.

How will the Rice Annual Fund honor our commitment to student life and learning and grant it new vitality in Rice’s second century?

  • By supporting students in tangible and measurable ways.
The Annual Fund fuels civic engagement, provides scholarship funds and contributes to virtually every program that nourishes the university’s vibrant student experience.
  • By providing long-term strength and stability.
The Annual Fund serves as the bridge between what will be accomplished upon the culmination of the Centennial Campaign, an eight-year effort, and what needs to be funded today. Unrestricted, immediate-use funds will ensure the success of the campaign through a time of significant transformation and enhancements.

We hope you will join the Rice Annual Fund in supporting the Centennial Campaign. With your help, Rice will continue to do what it has always done — provide a remarkable education for students who arrive passionate about learning and compassionate about what the world needs and what they may be able to offer.
